Discovering pole dance fitness was such an amazing eye opener for Summer. As a mother of two, finding the time and desire to go the gym was a struggle. To realize that fitness can be exciting, sensual, and something to look forward to, was a feeling that she had not previously experienced. Summer attributes pole dance fitness to transforming her into the strong, sexy, confident woman that she has become. As a student, she watched women of all ages start to feel sensual within their own skin. With a desire to bring these feelings to others, she began instructing in October 2009. She wanted to help other women discover the strength, beauty and grace that they all possess and sometimes find hard to express. Summer is an X-Pert Certified Pole Fitness instructor.

Erin is a bit of a Jack of All Trades! She went to college to study music, but found her love for doing hair along the way. She has been working as a hair color specialist for the past 8 years and loves helping people feel good about themselves. While doing hair in Dallas, she discovered she had scoliosis and turned to Pilates to help her rehabilitate. Loving the subtle physiological nuances of the practice, and the difference in how her body felt, she became a certified Pilates instructor through Karen Sanzo in Dallas, in 2006. Soon after her certification, she moved to Austin and continued doing hair color. She eventually became an educator to share her knowledge with colorists new to the industry. She also continued advancing her Pilates studies under Kate Wodash, at Mindful Body Center.
Always looking for new challenges, Erin took her first pole class at Brass Ovaries in early 2012 and immediately fell in love with not just pole dancing, but the support that she received from instructors and students alike. Not only was it physically challenging, but she discovered an inner strength and confidence she never knew she had. It is now her goal to help others find their own personal strength and sense of self through the art of pole and the sense of community found at Brass Ovaries!- Marisa

Marisa has continued to train at both Sky Candy, where she is a member of the Studio Company, and Brass Ovaries, where she is absolutely thrilled to be making the leap to instructor. Her passion fo being in the air has taken her all over the country and abroad. As an athlete first and foremost, she believes in specified techniques for flexibility and strength training, which she has molded over the coarse of her career.
Her latest endeavor has been with a three ring circus working on Silks, Lyra, Spanish Web, and several elephants. After two years on the road, Caty Mae is excited to return to teaching and share her experiences with students who share her enthusiasm for fitness and circus arts.- Odette
